Bethells Beach – 15 minutes drive
It’s a short drive to the spectacular beach for swimming, surfing and walking tracks nearby.
Piha Beach & Lion Rock – 32 minutes drive
Renowned for its surf, Piha also boasts plenty of walking tracks, and you can climb part of the famous Lion Rock
Arataki Visitor Centre – 22 minutes drive
The centre provides information on the local ecology, walks and more, plus a spectacular view.
Karekare Falls – 31 minutes drive
This popular Auckland waterfall sits within a cluster of well-loved walking trails, waterfalls and large black-sand beaches.
Waitakere Dam – 10 minutes drive
Visit the historic reservoir dam and enjoy the 3km Waitakere Dam out-and-back trail walk.
Muriwai Gannet Colony– 31 minutes drive
Visit the Gannet colony at Muriwai Beach and also enjoy spectacular views of the coast. The birds nest August to March.

The location was great. It is only a 10-15 minute drive to The Trusts Arena and Westgate shopping mall. Clean, homely, and private. Would love to come back!
Great location, very peaceful with a great view. Nice big lounge, great for sitting around and bonus to have a great outlook. Everything met expectations.
