With such a large guest capacity, it’s ideal for wedding guests going to the dozen local venues, particularly for those guests from out of town or overseas. Staying local to the venue avoids traffic and the stress of getting to the wedding on time.
Alternatively, it can provide a wonderful bridal or honeymoon suite for two.
Being on the edge of the Waitakere Ranges, Chapman House is also a great springboard for the west coast beaches, walks in the ranges, and is handy to west Auckland’s wineries.

We will return! Absolutely perfect in terms of cleanliness and comfort. All beds were comfortable and communication was excellent before, during and after stay. The advertised pictures and views were exactly as described. We will stay again.
The place is absolutely beautiful! We got country side quiet with stores and coffee shops only 5-10 minutes drive away. The view is truly spectacular. The house is big and accommodating and we had an easy time communicating with the hosts! Highly recommend this place!

- No parties or events are permitted.
- No loud noise after 10pm.
- Smoking is not permitted inside or on any of the decks.
- The property is monitored 24/7 with outside cameras plus noise-level and cigarette smoke detectors.
- No commercial activity is permitted without permission from us.
- You will be charged for any extra guests not on the booking.
- You will be charged for any damage to the property during your stay. Where guests cause damage beyond normal wear and tear, you must inform us of the damage as soon as possible.
- There are security cameras outside the house, but not inside the house.
- While cleaning fees are included in your rental, guests should not leave the property in a state that requires excessive or deep cleaning (mouldy dishes, soiled carpets, marks on the walls etc).
